Russia is Full of Offensive power. And Have One of the Best goaltenders in the NHL in Evgeni Nabokov. Russia will be hard to beat with so much fire power. Russia will win the gold medal. Sweden will win the silver and Canada will win the Bronze.

My bet is on Russia and Canada sharing yet another final in the past two years, with Russia taking the gold. On the one hand, Canada will definitely be motivated, seeing as they have now lost to Russia twice in a row at the Worlds – one being on home soil. On the other hand, when push comes to shove, the current Russian team has shown that it has the skill, the motivation, and the ability to go beyond its limits and win. It will be a great tournament and a close final game, but my bet is on Russia taking the gold medal this time. :)

Picking Canada in the 2008 world hockey series proved your point wrong :). When it’s the best vs the best, Russia out shins Canada. Top player in NHL in stats atm is Russian, second is Russian aswell than Crosby for the Canadians at the third spot.
