Nathan Sawaya – Brick Artist

When Mike, Jay, and I (Art) were at the Comic Con in New York City earlier this month we met Nathan Sawaya. He is an artist that uses LEGO as his artistic medium. You can check out his site at brickartist.com for all his wonderful creations. Nathan is based out of New York, but you can see his work everywhere in the world. Besides LEGO, Nathan has used Necco wafer hearts and created a human heart sculpture. At the Comic Con, Nathan had many sculptures on display and it is amazing what he can do with what most people use as toys. He even made a billboard out of LEGO for a movie that was on display in LA.
