Before Ms. Channing, it was marching bands and drill teams. That soon ended when the NFL started hiring talent to perform and next thing you know, Britney Spears is torturing a classic. Oh there is plenty others, she is just the easiest to make fun of right now.
The bands stuck around for a few more years but the talent slowly started to grow until it became an event within an event. It’s a mini concert during the single biggest football game of the year.
