Australia’s Gift: Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan is an Australian actress who began her career as a fashion model, being voted sports model of the year in 2004 and 2005. After over five years of modeling, she moved over to presenting and eventually acting. She’s best known for her role as Pepper Steiger in the Australian television series Neighbours, but got her start as Chrissie on Russell Coight’s Celebrity Challenge. No matter what she’s in, she brings a bit of titillation to the screen.
Early in 2007, Whelan appeared on The Show Biz Show with David Spade. Reportedly Whelan and Spade have become very good friends, and she just filmed the movie Hollywood and Wine with him. I don’t know what it is about David Spade and beautiful women, maybe he made a deal with the devil. Spade’s been linked at one time or another with Lara Flynn Boyle, Teri Hatcher, Julie Bowen, Heather Locklear, Nicollette Sheridan, Kristy Swanson, Krista Allen, Sarah Foster, Carmen Electra, and Pamela Anderson.
