Cross Gender Superheroes?
I think many men can appreciate a good female superhero. Be it Wonder Woman, one of the female X-Men, or something in the video game world like Lara Croft. What guy doesn’t want to see a women kicking ass? I mean that was the central premise of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Alias on television. And I enjoyed those shows.
But imagine if some of your favorite heroes were women? Not just Wonder Woman, but let’s say The Flash or Daredevil. Guess what? People already have. Individuals like Portal Comic and Elsa Chan have come up with depictions of female version of various characters, be it from comics, video games, or even the movies. And I’m not talking about Batgirl or Supergirl. I’m talking about characters like the female Aquaman to the right, or Aquawoman if you will. And there are plenty of other examples. The results might intrigue or disturb you:

Yeah, some of them have been done, like She-Hulk. Some were in variant issues. But I figured I’d lump them all together since they’re not the normal characters.

Its one thing for a girl to be dresses up in batman or superman costume (nothing more then what you would see a con) but its another when its the male character with tits. Like those Speed Racer or He-Man picks.

Some of those aren’t cross-gendered, like the blonde female Robin or the Red-head Superwoman (Jimmy Olson’s cousin). Interesting selection tho..

Crossgender is the wrong word. They are gender opposites of the characters they potray.
I love that on the last page they included a rehash of someone’s Wolverine, that looks just like a guy. i don’t even think they intended for it to look like a female, i think they meant to draw a new design for him.

I’m not a feminist or anything, and I know this is a joke, but…I don’t hink it’s possible to fight crime in half of those outfits without getting a killer yeast infection. Just saying.
I haven’t gotten past the first page yet, but there are some obvious things that needed to be omitted.
Why would female blade become a white chick?
Why would female Tony Stark (Toni Stark) show thatr much skin and her face if everything else about her is similiar if not exactly like her male counterpart.
That is not a female Sephiroth on the first page, that Is Paine dressed like some kind of female Sephiroth (bare can call it that since Sephy didn’t were speedo underwear and nothing else.)
One of the female Sephiroths is just Payne (FFX-2) in Sephiroth’s outfit. FAIL. A few of the chick Dantes’ and hellboys are pretty cool though…dunno about male Morrigan…

Posting pictures of She-Hulk is not “OMG a female Hulk how clever!”. I don’t care for comics and even I know that’s She-Hulk. Same deal with Batgirl. The brunette female Robin is an existing character as well. That Wolverine is male. Those Speed Racer and Rick Hunter are literally just Speed and Rick with boobs poorly drawn on. Adding boobs to a man does not make him female.
The “Thundercats” on page 5 aren’t Thundercats… and one of them is male anyway. that “female Blanka” is an existing character named Charlotte. That’s not a “female Dante” that’s Lady from DMC 3 in her Pc alternate costume. There have been female Green Lanterns and for pete’s sake that Mandalorian’s name is Jinja, she’s not a “female Boba Fett”.
