How about Dilbert? Although a bit depressing, he obviously manages to survive in a world that hates and fears him (ok, I stole that line from X-men). But at least he’ll rear his children without any illusions about the real world.

The only question is.. will it lead to eventual suicide or will you be too disillusioned to bother?

No love for Splinter? He single-handedly raised four turtles into crime fighting ninjas. Now that his boys have hit their teenage years he could devote his full attention to you. Not to mention how cool it would be to have the Turtles as older brothers. Aside from Mikey’s pizza addiction and big R’s bouts with depression they would be perfect. The only downsides would be having to live in a sewer, constantly getting into fights with the Foot and various half-human half-animal evil doers, having no access to a proper education or the outside world (aside from April), and did I mention living in the sewer?
