Happy Chinese New Year 2009

This year, the 15-day Chinese New Year begins Jan. 26, ushering in the Year of the Ox. The animal of your birth year defines and influences you as it “hides in your heart” for the rest of your life, as a Chinese saying goes. In addition to dictating individual destiny and personality, some believe the animal influences events through the year. An ox is characterized as dependable, calm, methodical, patient, hardworking, ambitious, conventional, steady, modest, logical, resolute, tenacious. However, an ox can also be stubborn, narrow-minded, materialistic, rigid, and demanding.
To help usher in the Chinese New Year is Tang Wei. Ms. Wei is one of the fastest rising Asian stars. Her performance in Ang Lee’s Lust, Caution has won the heart of the critics and her sex scenes with co-actor Tony Leung has created a huge buzz in the Chinese media. Apparently, Tang Wei is currently banned from all media coverage in China including television, film, print, etc. Luckily for you, she isn’t banned from the good old freedom of the press USA. So with that, we present to you coverage of Ms. Tang Wei.
