We’re not exactly a serious site here, so we can’t really cover something as important as Martin Luther King day in your typical way. We have come such a long way as a country, however we still have progress to make. Barack Obama is the “First Black President”, and Tony Dungy was the “First Black Coach to win a Superbowl.” As Dungy retired this past week, I heard talk of him being one of the best coaches of his era, and not just “The Best Black Coach”. Maybe in the next 40 years, an African American will just be the “President.” So on this day, when we are closer to Dr. King’s dream then ever before, we take a moment to look at the lighter side of this holiday, with a little help from Stephen Colbert.
