Hollywood’s Top Up and Coming Actresses
2. Abbie Cornish
This 26 year old Aussie is already well known Down Under, but is just starting to make a name for herself in the United States and abroad. Her first Hollywood project was only two years ago, but people are recognizing why Cornish has won several major acting awards in Australia and has been compared favorably to Nicole Kidman.
First Major Hollywood Role: A Good Year, despite starring Russell Crowe and being directed by heavyweight Ridley Scott, this romantic comedy concerning French vineyards was largely passed over by audiences. Cornish plays Crowe’s niece.
Movie You Shouldn’t Miss: Somersault, the Aussie film starring Cornish as Heidi, a young girl on a journey of self-discovery.
Upcoming Feature: Bright Star, this Jane Campion project is based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne. Cornish plays Brawne.
1. Kristen Stewart
This 18 year old started acting at the age of eight, and had appeared in her first major movie by age twelve. She’s combined critically acclaimed independent roles with the occasional kid oriented film like Zathura. By accomplishing so much at such a young age, she looks primed for a big career, much like her former co-star (and possible clone) Jodie Foster. Saying her future looks extremely bright probably doesn’t do her justice. She’s going to be a superstar.
First Major Hollywood Role: Panic Room, as Jodie Foster’s daughter, Sarah Altman, in the David Fincher thriller.
Movie You Shouldn’t Miss: Into the Wild, based on the true story of Christopher McCandless, it deals with a young well-off graduate who abandons his possessions, gives his entire $24,000 savings account to charity, and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness.
Upcoming Feature: Twilight, the adaptation of the popular Vampire book by Stephenie Meyer hits theaters this coming weekend.

LOVE THE LIST! Not sure about your #5 though… Kat Dennings has some crazy lips. I guess her acting is pretty good.
I read and the book Twilight and I loved it, not sure the movie would give it justice as always right! Also, I don’t also agree with the cast they picked to play the characters in the story as well, don’t get me wrong. They are good actor’s but they don’t quite fit the roll. I would have gone with Rachael McAdams as “Bella” and as “Edward” I would have to go with maybe Mario Lopez. This book gives quite a specific detail as to how they would look like, and I am sorry but the actor’s chosen were not exactly what I was picturing in my mind.
As for the Hottest girl on this list, I definitely must go with my girl Scarlett, she is just Beautiful. Hands down she beats all the women picked here, and yes I agree with some comments out there, they left out quite a few women that could have easily made it to the list. All the women here are good looking, but if your gonna narrow it down to the top Ten, well then, lets be honest with ourselves and list what everyone can agree with.
