Miss Russia Stipped of Title over Nude Photos
Sofia Rudeva (sometimes spelled Sofiya Rudeva) was crowned Miss Russia 2009 earlier this month (pictured to the right), becoming the successor in a long line of beautiful Russian women to win that title. For example, it was only last year that Russian Kseniya Sukhinova was crowned Miss World. However, the new Miss Russia’s reign ended up being a short one.
Late last week, Russian tabloids leaked pictures of Miss Rudeva in erotic poses. And by erotic, I’m talking about topless. Competition rules say that candidates should not 
appear in pornographic pictures or videos, and these clearly were that. Only 19 today, it is unclear when the photos of Miss Rudeva were taken, although some say she was as young as fourteen or fifteen.
The scandal rocked the Miss Russia Pageant, and a decision was made to strip Rudeva of her crown, with the title now falling to runner-up Svetlana Stepankovskaya (pictured to the left). Miss Stepankovskaya has plenty of erotic photos herself, posing in Maxim among other magazines, but none of the nude variety. At least not that anyone knows of. Give the tabloids some time and see what they come up with.

It is good to see our readers who voted got it right by voting Sofiya Rudeva as the preferred winner; that Miss Universe competition is anachronistic; to placate the feminists the organisers try to make out that it is not purely a beauty pageant, as it used to be, by using all the other crap like interviews and other events, but still has the swimsuit segment. They run it like a fashion parade, so every entrant needs to be tall and svelte like fashion models, but if one one them has ever had a semi nude photo taken, “shock! horror!” they scream. Nearly all the entrants are caucasian or look like it even if they come from Africa; even the ones who have dark skin seem to be as white or euro looking as possible; the Asian entrants always seem to be as Eurasian as they can find, so it is designed to appeal to whites.
I wonder how many of them have had cosmetic surgery, especially breast augmentation or rhinoplasty? If they have, they are cheats. At least with a nude segment it would be easier to spot the cheats.
