Miss World 2008 – Kseniya Sukhinova

Russia’s Kseniya Sukhinova was crowned the winner of the Miss World 2008 at the international beauties competition held in Johannesburg, South Africa. To win the title she bested 108 contestants. Sukhinova is the second Russian to win Miss World, the first was Julia Kourotchkina in 1992.

The five finalists of Miss World 2008 also include: first runner-up Miss India, Parvathy Omanakuttan; second runner-up Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Gabrielle Walcott; Miss Angola, Brigith dos Santos; and Miss South Africa, Tansey Coetzee.
