Just a thought but could you actually try and give some information in your lists? I am British and I know nothing more about these events than I did five minutes ago.

Also it may interest you to know that sport is actually played outside of North America, and that people in these foreign lands also use the “World Wide Web”.

This is article only pertains to scandals in the United States. Why do you have such a narrow view on the world? For instance, Operacion Puerto is one of the biggest ongoing scandals of this decade.

What about the University of Michigan’s mens basketball team – the Fab Five? I would put that one at the top of the list. Booster Ed Martin paid players over $600,000 bribing players to come and play for UofM. The 1997 National Championship and 1998 Big Ten Tournament was removed from the record bookls. The scandal involved the FBI, IRS, DOJ, money laundering from an illegal gambling operation… this didn’t even make the list?

Ben Johnson cannot be listed as Canada’s Greatest Sprinter…Donovan Bailey would have to be considered as the greatest as he won Olympic Gold without using steroids.

I don’t know if MLB and steroids is that big. I mean many of the major sports have doping problems. Cycling, Skiing, Track, etc… It’s just that baseball is more high profile here. And they did a poor job of regulating drug use, probably laregly caused by a strong player’s union that didn’t want such stuff.
