I think Finland will finish in the top 3, they always do, it’s the kind of team that seems to go under the radar every year but they never win the gold, if they do next year in Vancouver it will be because of their work ethic and team work certainly not for their individual talent.

I think the Finnish fans are a bit delusional to think that their program and players are anywhere close to the level of the Russians, Canadiens, or even Swedes.

Only one superstar??
Saku Koivu (792GP NHL 641 PTS), Olli Jokinen (799GP NHL 518 PTS).
They’re not superstar enough for you?

We all know that Selanne and Saku on the same line has always been one of the best olympic lines, if not the best. (w/ Lehtinen)

How about Mikko who is following his brother’s steps and also becoming a major superstar.

Don’t under estimate them… I still remember when Saku made Pronger look like an orange cone in the 2006 Semi Finals.

And they’re defense is one of the best! And they’re goalies also!

And yes they do have some of the best “Shut Down” players of the NHL!!! Including annoying Jarko Ruutu!

I want them to win the gold, they deserve it.
Teemu and Saku especially. They’re a hard working team.
That’s why they beat Canada so easily in 2006.

Definitely a medal.

Best Goaltending – correct

Worst D ? :O What about Kimmo Timonen, Sami Salo, Petteri Nummelin, Pitkanen, Numminen etc,.

Very Good D!!

6 good forwards: Koivu x2, Selanne, Jokinen, Tuomo Ruutu, Hagman, and a few intermediates.Lehtinen, Miettinen etce .:P
This team makes all players a better one, the chemistry is outstanding and when everything clicks into place and they play their game, finland is unstopable.

so definately playin for the medals . Between 1st and 3rd place
