As for the goalies the best one yet is Lasak, even though I am not sure if he will play. Hopefully they find someone thats half as good as he was. If all these guys play together like the old times it will be one amazing game! Good luck and I will definately be watching anf cheering for my team to win :) Slovakia has great potential and even better players. Hopefully Ziggy Palffy will join them to add some invaluable experience to the team. Panik, Ruzicka can also be a great threat as an addition to an experienced line. Visnovsky, Chara, Valabik and Jurcina are some of the toughest defensemen. A good mix of young and aging shouldn't be considered as underdogs to win a medal.. Especially after the 2006 olmpycs where they beat the eventual champions Sweeden along with Russia in a preliminary round. I would expect them to be able to deal with a defensive team like finland. In terms of Goaltending, this would probably be the biggest weakness of the team, however both Halak and Budaj are young and have shown potential,it would not surprise me if they matured and preformed solidly during the olympics.
