Ten Reasons Why Plaxico Burress Shot Himself
News has leaked that New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg Friday. Now it begs the question as to why? We at Gunaxin have a couple of ideas:
10. His opponent in fantasy football was starting him this week and he decided to “show” him.
9. He was snipe hunting.
8. It was the first time all year he managed to find his way around a safety and he just got too excited.
7. He’s been watching too much 8 Mile and Cheddar Bob is his favorite character.
6. The playoffs were coming and he felt he needed to even the playing field a little. I mean he can still burn Ellis Hobbs on one leg.
5. He wants to join the Oakland Raiders and thought this was a guaranteed in.
4. He simply decided to shoot off something other than his mouth for once.
3. He thought he was at the movies. Just ask Chris Rock…
2. He is involved in an ultimate game of one-upsmanship with Adam “Pac-Man” Jones. Your move Pac-Man.
1. He was Keepin’ It Real.
This movie is so good, I bust a cap in it!
I think Plaxico didn’t understand how to “make it rain” Maybe Pacman can help him out.

This surpasses T.O. as the oddest behavior from a Super Bowl hero, although at least Plax won the big game. Push ups in the driveway just don’t match going Cheddar Bob on yourself.

I feel that the superbowl win ruined him. It inflated his ego to the point where he has become unmanageable. I knew when he was making his stink during the off season about his contract that it all went straight to that bony head of his. So ya wanna be a Gangsta? Or, Do you wanna do what your being paid millions of dollars to do…catch the football? Pride cometh before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction. Wake up dude. You’re not indespensable.
LOL This guy is ridiculous. To be on arguably the best football team and do something like this. It’s called a safety! And I ain’t talkin’ about two points either. And to be carrying it on you in a club? I read this other blog about this earlier and it heated me up even more. Wow. To think that they pay these people this kind of money.
