Shamrock Shakes must be available in very select areas, probably those which tend to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a little more than most. In the U.S., this probably includes much of the New England states down to Virginia. I’m from the Pittsburgh area, and it’s quite the tradition here. I spent a week in March in Louisville, KY and tried three different McDonalds between Louisville and Columbus, Ohio–none had even heard of it.

BTW, the pineapple pie is also available in Malaysia and Singapore, and so is the Prosperity Burger in Singapore during Chinese New Year. And in Malaysia, nothing can beat Chicken Rice Congee for local-ness.
