Panasonic has just introduced the world’s first in-car Blu-Ray DVD Player, The CN-HX900D. This player is Windows-based, and features GPS, CD/DVD player, amp, built-in 40 GB hard drive, Bluetooth, 7-inch LCD screen, and the option CY-BB1000D Blu-Ray player. Now you can watch that Blu-Ray copy of Rambo you just got from Netflix while waiting for your fries at the Drive-Thru at McDonalds.

  1. It is a great idea but can you really see the difference between this and a DVD on small screen?

  2. No, you probably can’t see a difference. Even if you pressed right up against the screen, I don’t think you’d notice much of anything. I guess the only great use is that if you only owned a movie on Blu-Ray, you could now watch it in the car.
