Top 50 Gay Songs – Which Do You Own?
Heterosexual guys like myself are so insecure that whenever a ‘gay’ list comes out (top gay cars, top gay TV shows, top gay favorite actresses, etc.), they anxiously look at that list and try to prove they are not gay by acknowledging that they do not like those very same things that the gays like. Stupid? Yes. Homophobic? Sure, but that’s just the way it is. In fact, the opposite holds true. I hear you lose your gay identity card if you’re not a fan of shows like Queer as Folk.
Let’s take the test with music. Last year an Australian website tallied the votes of thousands of Aussies to compile a definitive list of the 50 Gayest Songs of All Time. So, whether you are gay or heterosexual, this list will tell you something about yourself. Count the songs that you own. My results are at the bottom.

Moe: …and I’m taking your favorite song out of the juke box.
Homer: [gasps] “It’s Raining Men”?
Moe: Yeah, not no more it ain’t.
I’d figure I’d have at least some of these, although I think You Spin Me is on the Wedding Singer soundtrack. Other than that I’m clear.
Ben you are really a treat. Thank you for clearing up what makes me gay. I thought it was the fact I love Greg-for seven plus years. Or that I was open, caring, giving, and understanding to all people of all races and backgrounds. Or the fact I serve others, try to wipe out hate and prejudice. Not to mention stereo types. You are imbecilic. Would you be proud to call yourself a racist? Why are you proud to feed into a nation of hate by calling yourself homophobic? Straight men are seen as strong, masculine, macho types. You haven’t an ounce of the stregnth and courage I have. You could not face the hate, hurt and descrimination I face on a daily bases and still retain your humor, love and forgiveness for others. You are the weak one, not I. Next time, post something that would truly make you worthy of your gender/oreintation-Top 50 reasons to love others. Or is it 50 top reasons to ignore Ben. I forgive and release you.
Well I am a gay guy and I only have 5 of those songs, given I am only 18, but still I have no doubt about my sexual orientation. And the fact that you are trying to gurad your sexuality is the most hilarious thing that I have seen since Kristen Stewart dropped her MTV awrd on stage because most guys I met that are guarded and always coming up with things that make them straight end up next to me in bed. Maybe you should hit me up Ben :P
I own none of them, I must not be gay!!!!!…. Not.
Well, im bi and i only owned Girls just wanna have fun and over the rainbow. The first one i started liking after watching shrek and i downloaded the real one and the other was on the wiz of oz which i grew up on. My bro likes some of the songs on the list too and he’s as straight as they go. This list doesnt make u gay. Music doesnt make anyone gay. Music expresses. And just cause u like a song doesnt mean it expresses u. It means u like it for one of a million dif reasons u could have. What makes or defines u as gay is that u are attracted to the opposite sex. DUH. But thanks for the list. I’ve been looking for some of these songs but didnt know who sang them. hahaha
Kylie. <33
