Tri-Corp, which was a subsidiary of Pepsi at the time that Star Wars Ep. 1 came out, was the holding company that owned Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut. They did a big promotion deal with Lucasfilm which is why all promotions at the time were only through those 3 fast food companies and all involved Pepsi.
