I like these a lot, I really like how Cinderella is a scarecrow, and Ariel’s fish hook/eyebrow ring is a nice touch, but I think that the drawing of Belle could’ve been a little more creative. Like maybe she’s a furry? Or she has the Beast chained up? Instead of just pale and crouched over.

Actually, I’m just a girl who likes creativity in her art, and there just wasn’t much of that in the drawing of Belle. Plus, they’re supposed to be evil, and we all know about furries…
i think it’s unfair to say his work isn’t detailed enough. It’s just as much detail as you would see in any of the characters/scenes in the actual movie. Is he supposed to do more of something that never actually occurs with the real thing? I mean I understand the whole “there needs to be more in the background” thing, but sometimes that takes away from the impact. I think he did a good job.

Its called a ’sexy tooth’ on jasmine, which is a tooth that is more prominent or imperfect that makes a chick look 10 x hotter(Jewel’s grill comes to mind) and it sets her off nicely.Good job!

I think Disney should sue you. To take loved childrens characters, and turn them into your perverted and twisted artwork, I have no kindness for. Disney has copyrighted these characters to protect them from vandals such as yourself. If you wish to be judged on your artistic merit, then use your creativity to design your own images, and stop defacing childrens characters.

I for one actually love the Beauty and the Beast Picture. I think it displays a lot about the characters and plot. The beast being so frightened and damned about his appearance that he has a noose around his necky to represent his submission. Belle wanting so much more than a provincial life demands riches and materialism thus controlling the beast to her will. I would love to see your version of Esmeralda, as she has so much feminism and complexity.

Hey for any of you faggots that wanted to comment on my brother’s pictures and they suck i would love to see there art and i saw someone said photoshopped hey douchebag he drew these out first before coloring it on the computer. And there is a reason they aren’t in full detail I would know seing how it’s my own brother who did these.
What the hell is with all the negativity about DA? There are some really great artists on DA. Art is art. There are so many different styles of art out there that I don’t think it matters if you like this particular art. I, myself, love every kind of art. Because art speaks, tells a story, lets out emotion, gives off an interest. People like Disney. There was this one guy who did photography of famous people in Disney settings and lots of people though THAT was nice. What’s the difference? It’s a GOOD idea. The darkness of Disney? Pretty cool. The point is, just because it’s not your particular style of art doesn’t mean it isn’t good. It’s well thought out, nicely drawn, and executed in a consistent manner. So, to whomever drew these, Kudos to you. You did great~! And to those who always feel they need to let their negative opinions ruin someones day, talk to someone who gives a shit.

I really think these pictures are very well done. They show the darker sides of these characters without diverging too much from their original appearances. As a matter of fact, the changes in these pictures seem to emphasize the original depiction of their beauty.
