UConn Huskie Girls
Rounding out the Final Four are the Connecticut Huskies of the Big East, trying to win another National Championship while coming out of the West Bracket. Coached by Jim Calhoun, they’ve been ranked as high as number 1 this season, and are on of the tournament’s two remaining #1 seed.
The team cruised on past Missouri last Saturday, winning by a margin of 82-75. A.J. Price has led the way, but he’s been supported by a number of players and fans, including these fine ladies. Let’s hope fortune smiles their way this weekend en route an appearance in the finals on Monday. You know the women’s team will make it, so the men have to match that or risk looking bad in relation.
