What are the Black Trucks in the Presidential Motorcade?
Have you ever wondered what all those extra SUVs are in the Presidential or VIP motorcades? The ones with blacked out windows that no one gets in or out of. No, they’re not just filled with secret service or hangers on. Well, that’s part of it, but it’s not the whole story. They also have a 6-barreled 7.62mm mini gun. It can fire over 4,000 rounds per minute, and when in operation the wipers need to be run to remove spent casings. Here’s a video:

Funny, I will bet the poster on this will actually be shocked to learn that out of the 17 pieces in a True Presidential Motorcade there is only 1 that contains anything like this.
Here is the breakdown of a motorcade.
usually 8 motorcycle officers lead the pack
then you have 2 Cadillac identical limos both draped with flags and presidential seals,
behind that you have three SUV’s containing the USSS Presidential Protection Forces and one that usually carries advisors and other Whitehouse aids one of these also is a solo bus for the nuclear football…
Then there are two vehicles, sometimes vans, sometimes SUV’s that are a counter assault teams. Only one having anything close to heavy machine guns.
Then there is a van consisting of press and journalists
Then there is a HAZMAT van. (only in certain cases)
Then there is a Black van with a round antenna that is a communications and special operations vehicle you will sometimes see a camera man filming out of the top of the van. This is so that everything is caught on tape in case there is an incident.
Finally, There is always an ambulance that follows. NO…this wasn’t just for Dick Cheney and his week heart. It is so that if there is something that goes wrong, they can get to him ASAP.
Out of all of those pieces, there can be less and more, depending on the travel and where they are going.
